Staff permissions

Give staff access to the work they are responsible for

Different members of a healthcare team have different responsibilities. Syrup Health lets facilities assign permissions that control which parts of the system staff can access.

Permissions that reflect staff responsibilities

Access to patient records, pharmacy inventory, laboratory information and administrative functions should reflect the work each staff member performs. Syrup Health provides granular endpoint permissions that facilities can assign to their staff.

Facility administrators can manage staff and their assigned permissions. The permissions checked by the application determine whether a user can access a protected function, including when they navigate directly to its URL.

Staff-level access

Assign access according to the responsibilities of individual staff members.

Granular permissions

Control access to specific application functions rather than relying only on broad navigation visibility.

Service profiles

Configure the services offered by the facility and make the corresponding application areas available accordingly.

Access is checked by the application

Hiding a navigation link is not the same as protecting a function. Syrup Health uses endpoint authorization so that protected actions are checked when a user requests them.
